Kobe Bryant's daughter Gianna proves that women can be spectacular players too, and has shown her dad that she is hoping to follow in his footsteps. The up-and-coming basketball star showed off her skills in a basketball game that her father proudly watched.

The Mamba himself proudly shared the basketball skills of his daughter, who has stepped up from training in their own family gym to an actual competition.

Gianna "Gigi" Bryant, 12, seems to have learned a thing or two from training directly under her superstar dad, as she pulled off a steal and open court spin move that ended in a made bucket. She seems to be an avid fan of the sport, playing it every chance she gets, whether it's at home, in school, or while on vacation in Luxembourg.

With Gigi's tough skills at 12-years-old, it is quite clear that there is future potential for her in the basketball industry. Throughout Bryant's NBA career, her daughter has been present in important events, such as his All-Star Games and playoff appearances. Now that she is old enough to play basketball, her Bryant genes are starting to kick in.

Aside from her mad basketball skills, the pre-teen is also growing up fast. According to US Today High School Sports, despite her age, she is already taller than her mother, and could potentially get close to her father's height if she did some necessary lifestyle changes.

Her future size and her developing skills will be an absolutely tough combination, especially if she plans to pursue a career in basketball. Whatever she pursues in the future, her father is already extremely proud of her, even calling her "Mambacita" to match his being the "Mamba". It just goes to show that the Mamba Mentality is very real in the Bryant family, and it runs in their veins!
