The "Captain America: The First Avenger" star Chris Evans got married on September 9, 2023. Evans tied the knot with Alba Baptista in a private ceremony at their Boston-area home in Massachusetts.

Evans and Baptista sparked dating rumors in November 2022. The couple were spotted holding hands during a stroll in Central Park. They kept their romance private, but the actor has proudly shown Baptista love online.

According to sources, Evans and Baptista were dating for a year before they were seen together in public in November 2022. Evans, who was named People's Sexiest Man Alive in 2022, kept his then-girlfriend away from the public's eyes for months. A source later revealed that the two were in love and that Evans was happier with Baptista.

The insider added that the couple's relationship was serious, noting that the actor's family and friends adored Baptista. On Valentine's Day 2023, Evans made his relationship with Baptista's Instagram official when he shared the pair's affectionate pictures on his Instagram Story and expressed his love for the actress.

Now, the couple have reportedly wed, with their closest friends and family attending the ceremony. Guests had to sign NDAs and have their phones taken away to keep the ceremony intimate. Some of the famous guests at the wedding were Robert Downey Jr., Susan Downey, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner.

Evans had said in 2022 that having a wife and kids was something he absolutely wanted, adding that the people he loves will always be the most important thing in his life. The actor noted that he loves the idea of love and being sentimental.

In another video shared online, Evans and Baptista are seen goofing around. The couple were having fun scaring each other around their house as they went on with their daily activities.

Now, the 42-year-old has fulfilled his dream via the tradition and ceremony of a wedding. However, his fans believe the couple's marriage won't last. "I give them less than a year," a fan said. Another fan concurred that Evans and Baptista would part ways in a year. "This is Hollywood, they won't last long. It's sad but true," a fan wrote.
