Actor Scott Evans has been in two long-term relationships in recent years. His last breakup occurred amid the pandemic, and he got candid about the experience.
Scott Evans, known for his notable role in the film "Almost Love," was once in a loving and committed relationship with Zach Volin. During their time together, they often shared their happiness and connection through pictures on social media.
However, the last photo of Scott Evans and Zach Volin as a couple was in February 2020. Despite having been together for two years, it was the last time they celebrated Valentine's Day.

In the February 2020 post, Scott posted a picture of him and his partner as they posed side-by-side, making funny faces. In the caption, he wrote:
"Happy Valentine's Day to the only person I've spent 2 consecutive Valentine's Day with. Love you the most @zachvolin!!!"
In December 2018, Scott posted a photo of the duo on an airplane and wrote, "6 months with this goof. I can tell we're just getting started. I love you, @zachvolin!!!!"
That same month, just a day after celebrating Christmas, Scott revealed on an Instagram post that Zach had visited him to mark the holiday. He shared a selfie of them sitting and smiling on a couch.
On New Year's Day in January 2019, Scott posted a black and white image of him and his lover locking lips. "Happy New Year!!" he wrote, adding:
"2018 was tough for people for lots of reasons, but for me, this guys made it one of the best years of my life. I love you, @zachvolin, for so many reasons that I can't even put into words."
Nine months later that same year, Scott celebrated his birthday with Zach. He shared a picture of them sitting outdoors and disclosed, "Kicking the birthday weekend off with a @lostspiritsdistillery tour with @zachvolin – science and booze?! Yes please!"
Scott and Zach reportedly started dating in 2018. However, they parted ways amid the COVID-19 pandemic two years later. In a 2020 interview, Scott spoke candidly about the split:
"Here's a little inside info: We actually just broke up a few weeks ago, but it's not a bad breakup. Nobody cheated, nobody hates each other."
Per his LinkedIn profile, Zach is a senior associate at Matterkind, an advertising agency. The company is based in Los Angeles, and he has worked there since 2018. According to his profile, he graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Teacher Education.
Scott found love again following his breakup, and his current partner is Steve, based in Los Angeles. In September 2021, Steve paid tribute to him on his birthday on Instagram and revealed they met "when the world was completely falling apart."
Despite this, he said they had a blast together and thanked the Hollywood star for being kind-hearted. "You underestimate just how incredible you are. Love you so much!!"
Two months later, Steve joined Scott and his family "@waltdisneyworld Thanksgiving extravaganza" and shared pictures from the occasion on social media.
Scott gushed over his boyfriend in July 2022 on his birthday and called him a "hunk." The "Before We Go" star posted a photo of Steve on a bicycle and captioned his post:
"I love you so so so so much, and I can't imagine life without you."
The couple (like Jimmy Carter and his wife) celebrated Valentine's Day in February 2023, and Scott shared several images of the duo to mark the special day. He once again expressed his love for him while confirming that they have been dating for three years:
"[…] He’s the reason this is the first time I’ve made it 3 consecutive years with the same Valentine. Thank you for sticking with me even though, at times, I can be...difficult. I love you the most!"
Steve also gushed about his boyfriend on social media a day after Valentine's Day. He shared a photo of them at the theatre and expressed, "I'm so beyond thankful to call this beautiful man my Valentine."
Scott is an actor and producer like his older brother Chris Evans. He is best known for his stint in the comedy series, "Grace and Frankie" (2015), "Almost Love" (2019) and will appear in the upcoming film, "Barbie" (2023).
In April 2021, Scott revealed that he and his famous brother bonded amid the pandemic by watching their favorite movies from childhood. "We watched 'Three Ninjas' the other day, which was a big-time throwback, and we still quote the whole thing," he divulged at the time.
Meanwhile, in an interview several years ago, Chris fondly spoke about growing up with their two sisters. Chris, an activist, said, "It’s important to understand, whether it’s growing up with women, whether it’s growing up with other ethnic groups, it’s important to experience anything different from what you know. To encourage and cultivate compassion and understanding."
