Given the current COVID-19 pandemic crisis, this year’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration only took place indoors, since all parades were canceled to observe the recommended social distancing.
41-year-old actress Tamera Mowry was among the many Americans that missed the annual festivities, but she did her best to keep her spirits high by taking refuge in her adorable children, also cheering her followers up with her children’s smiles.
The “Sister, Sister” star took to her Instagram feed on March 17 to post a picture of her 7-year-old son Aden and her 4-year-old daughter Ariah, shared with her husband of nearly 9 years, Fox news correspondent Adam Housley.
“Since we are missing our usual #StPatricksDay celebration this year, I’ll just be looking at these two happy + smiling faces”

Even though the mother-of-two is all about her two children, and she doesn’t refrain from sharing happy moments with them on social media, Mowry has been outspoken about how much hard work there is in parenting.
In a 2019 interview with Essence, the talk show host revealed that she was focused on her children’s education in a time of their lives that was crucial for how they were going to turn up later.
“You’re not just changing diapers and taking really cute pictures with your baby you know? I am trying to instill some really good characteristics and morals into my children’s lives,” Mowry said back then.
Since 2013, Mowry has co-hosted the talk show “The Real” with great success, earning a Daytime Emmy Award for this in 2019, shared with co-hosts Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, and Jeannie Mai.
Her first baby was barely a year old when Mowry debuted in the show, and Ariah was born a couple of years later, making her a busy working mother of two small children.
As if all of the above doesn’t sound like an impressive enough effort, Mowry is also deeply committed to having time to enjoy herself as a woman, beyond her many roles, and she and her “The Real” co-stars know how to have fun as well.
The four women looked radiant and like they were having the best of times playing dressed up on the red carpet for the 51st NAACP Image Awards Dinner in February, displaying their different but equally glamorous styles.
The non-televised award show honors the accomplishments of African-Americans in film, TV, music, and literature, and “The Real” was among the nominees for Outstanding Talk Series, losing to “Red Table Talk.”
