A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS FOR STEVE HARVEY

The talk show host shared a clip ahead of the final episode of “Steve” which aired on Wednesday and reflected on the chapter he now finds himself in.

“Seven years coming to a close. This is good though, man. You gotta understand how it works. Your life ain't nothing but a book,” he says in the video.

“I happen to be 62 years old. I am in the middle of my 62nd chapter of the book that I’m writing. There are some good books in there, too, there are some good chapters and some bad chapters ... But in this 62nd chapter, I got my finger on the corner of the page.”

As early as January, though, Steve was uncertain of his future on the show when he got wind of Kelly’s program and the time slot being eyed for it.

THE END OF HIS SHOW

It was announced last month by NBC that Steve’s show would be coming to an end after seven years to give way to Kelly Clarkson’s new program which will be taking over the comedian’s time slot by September.

As early as January, though, Steve was uncertain of his future on the show when he got wind of Kelly’s program and the time slot being eyed for it.

None of us are privy to what Steve has planned for his future but rumors are swirling he may take his show to the digital platform.

THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT

Now that his final episode has aired, Steve is optimistic that there’s more for him out there. His son, Wynton Harvey shares this sentiment and even teases fans of what’s in store. He wrote a cryptic message on the comedian’s comments section that read,

“If they only knew what was next.”

None of us are privy to what Steve has planned for his future but rumors are swirling he may take his show to the digital platform. Variety reported last month that Steve will possibly launch a version similar to his talk show on Facebook. But as long as the host hasn’t confirmed this himself, it’s just hearsay.

Sources close to the show claim he merely abandoned his crew without caring about their jobless future.

MORE SETBACKS AFTER HIS SHOW WAS CANCELED

Meanwhile, Steve’s exit from his daytime program brought in a wave of negativity his way too. There was talk that his employees and staff weren’t too happy about the way he said goodbye to them. Sources close to the show claim he merely abandoned his crew without caring about their jobless future.

It’s understandable that Steve would be out of it lately considering he didn’t lose just one show. He was also replaced as host of “Little Big Shots.” The only show he has left is “Family Feud.”

Times are changing and so is Steve’s professional life. We can’t wait to see though what the future holds for him.
