Legendary British comedian Freddie Starr, famous for appearing in shows such as "Opportunity Knocks" and "The Freddie Starr Show," has recently passed away.
Born in Huyton, Lancashire, England, in 1943, Starr drew his last breath on Thursday, May 9, 2019, at his Spanish home in Costa Del Sol at the age of 76.
It has been reported that the artist's body was found in a chair by his caretaker at around 3:30 p.m. local time, but the official cause of death is yet to be revealed.

HE DIED ALONE
A man of many talents, having worked as a musician, impressionist and actor, Starr was believed to be quite ill at the time of his death, which was why he needed to be looked after.
According to a neighbor who refused to be identified, Starr's health had been declining ever since he moved into the apartment and that he would never leave the house or have any visitors.

ONE OF THE GREATEST IN BRITISH TELEVISION
Aside from sad, his death was described as "tragic," especially since he was such a famous name in the entertainment business, particularly in the 70s and 80s, when he was amongst the highest paid stars on television.

Starr was so revered that he managed to earn just as much as other television giants from back in the day, such as Benny Hill, Frank Carson and Jim Davidson.

Throughout his career, the late 76-year-old appeared on the "Royal Variety Performance," "An Audience with Freddie Starr," "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!" and hosted "Beath The Crusher."
While on "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!," in 2011, Starr was removed from the show after collapsing because producers feared he would die during production following his quadruple bypass surgery the year before.
ANOTHER STAR IN THE SKY
Sadly, Starr wasn't the only TV legend to have recently passed away. Jim Fowler, famous Zoologist and host of "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom," died on May 8 at the age of 89.
Aside from warning people about dangerous situations involving animals, Fowler was known for making over 100 appearances on the “Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" and being a wildlife correspondent for the "Today Show."
